Hockeys Kvasha out with Knee Injury: Knee Surgery Unlikely

April 10th, 2006 · No Comments

Phoenix Coyotoes left wing Oleg Kvasha will miss the final seven games of the season because of a knee injury.

Kvasha damaged a medial collateral ligament in the first period of Monday’s 7-1 loss against Edmonton.
General manager Mike Barnett stated that Kvasha will not need Knee Surgery, but that the rehabilitation time for such an injury is at least two weeks.

Kvasha, acquired in a trade with the Islanders in March, notched four goals and six assists in 12 games since coming to the Coyotes.

Kvasha is set to become an unrestricted free agent after the season.
