Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Joey Porter is expected to have arthroscopic knee surgery as early as May 24, less than a year after having loose cartilage removed from his left knee.

Ireland’s Paul McGinley hopes to be practising again within 10 days after a successful knee operation.
