Texas football coach Mack Brown is recovering after knee joint replacement surgery, a school spokesman said Friday.
Brown had surgery on his left knee Tuesday and should return home soon, spokesman Bill Little said.
Brown’s college playing career in the 1970s was cut short at Vanderbilt and Florida State because of knee injuries which required multiple surgeries.
