Gov. Joe Manchin walks out of Cabell-Huntington Hospital after undergoing knee replacement surgery. Manchin received a new left knee Saturday and is now resting at the governor’s mansion. The governor suffered a knee injury in 1966 when he was on the football team at West Virginia University. Manchin said he’s been able to cope with the discomfort throughout his adulthood, even in the last few years as the pain has intensified.
